Mikhenzo Runs Three Countries in Thirty Seven Days

In 2020, we did Mikhenzo Runs New Jersey. A solely New Jersey focused run, which was nine point six mile run daily for twenty five days. This year, we became a little creative by paying homage to all the places Henry once lived, worked and raised his family. In thirty seven days, Henry is running two hundred and forty miles across sixteen cities, three countries and three continents. This includes but not limited to Tema, Ghana, Nungua, Ghana, Irvington, Union, Aiken, Nashville, Hackettstown, Rockville, Harrisburg, Wiesbaden, Germany, Ewing, Nashville, Waltham, Scottsdale, Forster City, Gloucester City and Deerfield.

“Quite an exciting plan with the opportunity to reconnect to all the place I once called home and/or place of work. This is perhaps the most challenging task I ever embarked on but, it’s necessary in order to raise the bar in the state of my psyche. Additionally, I am hoping to spur someone on in overcoming whatever challenges they might be faced with along the journey of their life. This could be lost of loved one, disconnected in relationships, lost of employment, set backs in business – whatever the situation might be, we stand firm in the faith that there is solution for every occurrence in life. And one can OverCome – this is what Mikhenzo stands for; wealth, good health and strength throughout the course of life.”

We are designating twenty to thirty percent of sales proceeds to Almight Champs, a youth soccer organization based in Newark, New Jersey established to developed and present collegiate and professional level playing opportunities to inner city youth.
